First it's flat out discriminatory. Second, lower wages (and lower spending power) affects everyone. It part of the "wealth gap" everyone talks about. One way to bridge this is to tax wealthy people more and working people less. Perhaps the average CEO who makes 350 times or more of the average worker has more to do with it than fair wages for equal work.
