"Why is the "preparation" that gun-relgionists need seem to coincide so closely with just carrying a gun?"

Why would you think it coincides just with carrying a gun? I try to be prepared in most aspects in my life. I carry a firstaide kit in my Jeep along with jumper cables, tool, an emergency jumpstart battery, emergency water, rations and blanket, a flashlight, spotlight, winch, shovel, two jacks and a spare tire. Most people would think those preparations are a bit much, I don't. In fact I had my jumpstart battery out of the Jeep yesterday and threw it in at the last minute and sure enough I needed to use it on a friends car. How many gas attacks do you see. I'm sure you can cite a few. I'll wait.

And you can't prove that they are prepared that they are scared of something. All you have is your whining, accusations and name calling.
