Poll: Romney preferred over Obama to handle the economy

22. I spoke to a small business owner over the weekend

who had lost everything due to an unexpected illness.

He's getting back on his feet largely due to Mass Health care, unemployment benefits and the somewhat better than national average state economy (in a state that is essential a single party Democratic state).

You know what he said to me about his downfall: "It's all the Democrats fault."

I said, "The Republicans want to take your health care away." (maybe a stretch since this is the State program not Federal but the theme is the same.)

His response: "Yeah, well except for that one thing."

I didn't go on, I had plenty of facts and I had no idea how to get past his 'certainty' about what he believed.

However, I am suspicious the poll refereed too in the OP isn't very accurate. Still there is a lot of delusion out there.
