We are basically still operating under Bush's policies, especially on taxes, because Congress blocks every attempt to create jobs, etc. and Romney would bring back full bore all of the failed Bush policies and the American people are buying the Romney proposals, whatever they are. Give me a break. Within 10 months of taking office Romney would have this country mired in recession and his remedy would be to end Medicare and turn it into a voucher system where the voucher would barely cover half of the cost of private insurance. And that is just for starters. Just look to Spain if you want to see what austerity looks and feels like. That is the Romney model and it ain't pretty. Poverty levels are already at the level they were in the 1960's and heading south rapidly. In other words, we have already lost 50 years of progress with no turnaround in sight.

One of the core issues is the data the American people are getting. Nobody is giving context to what is being said so they don't know what or who to believe so they are believing the worst case scenario.
