The Sikh community around the country has seen an increase in bias attacks since Sept. 11, 2001, with its members often confused for Muslims. In fact, the Sikh religion does not have its roots in the Middle East but in Punjab, India. Many faithful often let their beards grow long and, in keeping with their faith, wear turbans.

In the last year alone, Mr. Crowley said in the letter, two Sikh men in Sacramento were murdered, a Sikh temple in Michigan was vandalized and a Sikh man was beaten in New York.
My thoughts: We all know who is behind not just this mass shooting, but the other attacks on Sikhs based on the mistaken assumption by their idiot attackers that they are Muslim. The crazies are getting crazier all the time, they're being encited and pumped up by numerous statements and direct political ads generated by the political party that shall not be named. And they have total access to complete arsenals, compliments of the NRA and same-mentioned political party. It is only going to get worse.
