13. I fail to understand

WHY felons are stripped of their voting rights. They are STILL citizens, and should have voting rights. Gop must have decided that most felons are (D) so they stripped them of their right to vote. I have always felt that this was wrong. How does this help people regain their self respect after already paying for whatever crime they committed?
