but Mexico's response seems a bit suspicious to me, especially in comparison to the manner in which China seemed to target Trump voters for their retaliation. The agricultural products listed above are predominantly produced in blue states. What gives? Is this a soft retaliation as negotiating tactic by Mexico? Do they just naturally import more from northeastern/northwestern locales for climate reasons?
