68. Murkowski wasn't their candidate anyway. Indigenous Alaskans voted her in. She needs their support.

Fuck the GOP, is probably more along her lines now.

She was forsaken by the AK GOP and managed to pull off a win because indigenous Alaskans supported her.

She needed to show support for them, else they would have abandoned her--even thought the Kavanaugh outcome was probably planned to go off as it did anyway. Kav gets in, yet she is able to save face with the Alaskans who voted for her.

Perhaps she'll run as an Indy next time. But, who will she caucus with?
