How many think the original meaning should be taken back?

School children who know the proper way to salute the american flag using the Bellamy salute:

The origin is from you know who:

This is but one of other ancient symbols ruined by the douchebag, the others being the Swastika and the Fasces. Again, I may be getting off the subject a bit but I'm a believer in original context. By acknowledge the origin you strip power away from those that wish to appropriate said symbolism, by acknowledging the modern day interpretation...well you acknowledge them in the way they wanted you to.
