Sarah Huckabee Sanders will leave her post as White House press secretary at the end of the month, President Trump announced on Thursday.

Sanders’s departure caps off a tumultuous, two-year run as Trump’s top spokeswoman, marked by tensions with the White House press corps and the disappearance of the daily briefing. During that time, however, Sanders became one of Trump’s closest aides.

After 3 1/2 years, our wonderful Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be leaving the White House at the end of the month and going home to the Great State of Arkansas....
