Impeachment in the United States
The House has impeached 20 federal officers. Of these:
~ three were Presidents: Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton were later acquitted by the Senate, while Donald Trump is awaiting trial.
Date: September 24, 2019

Accused: Donald Trump
Office: President of the United States
Accusations: Enlisting the assistance of foreign governments with re-election and obstruction of the resulting investigation
Result: Impeached on December 18, 2019 after an inquiry by the Financial Services, Judiciary, Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, Oversight and Reform, and Ways and Means committees.
