In reply to the discussion: Additional video footage surfaces in Ahmaud Arbery shooting [View all]Sapient Donkey
(1,568 posts)52. The video this article is talking about is a security camera video from a house on the same street
as the one under construction. I am not 100% clear on who filmed the video from the car, though. I got the impression he was also involved in the chase based on the fact he was driving on the wrong side of the road and was directly behind him. Also, I believe the lawyers/family of the victim demanded he person who filmed it also be charged. Maybe some new information on that has came out since I read that, though. It's mostly speculation on my part.

Could be. We do not know. What matters is, he took nothing. He damaged nothing.

A whole lot more certainly said, not ok, for sure. A handful of people though is a whole lot to me

His "crime", if any, per the video footage, would have been "criminal trespass".

I'm going to guess he was taking a piss. Been there, done that. Didn't get killed for it.

Most of my FB friends are fine with a crook getting shot. 95% of them call this murder.

He didn't do anything illegal, and even if he had done something it wouldn't matter

Oh did it say that? I didn't see that part. That seems about right based on the video.
