never for many people. Too many businesses have closed and online functions and automation have accelerated recently.

Knowing that homeless, unsheltered people will likely pick up the virus and spread it is even more bad news for the GOP and all.

Here's a new post about how the GOP has agreed to the previous amount of relief ($600) but with inclusion of cuts to Social Security and Medicare, highly unpopular with the masses. It's backed by several Democrats, but commenters note that the majority of Dems will never approve it.

If the GOP keeps the original amount per month but cuts programs, or, goes back to an intended much reduced amount it's bad for Americans and bad for Republicans, especially with the upcoming election, if it's held.

It seems this would give Dems more leverage; retain the original amount, but no program cuts. I don't see how people could survive on less than $500. We'll find out this week since the bill is set to expire Friday, July 31.

The damage is extensive as you say, and what more of a nightmare this could turn into.
