39. It's true.....

....that you can’t erase this era.

But you can end it.

The country has the option of categorically ending it with a landslide if it chooses. And not because of party allegiance or political persuasion, but just because the Presidency, if it’s going to be worth a dime, is too important to be entrusted to a thick as mince chancer you wouldn’t trust to tell you the time.

The concerning - and almost unbelievable - bit is that, viewed from afar at least, this election isn’t in the bag already.

After all that’s gone before it’s shocking really, the complete debasement of things to reality show levels and worse, and the apparent willingness of so many people to accept it.

How on earth is it possible not to be streets ahead in this ?
