7. I live in San Diego County ...

So pretty much the opposite side of the country.

San Diego County and Orange County were once the Urban Conservative counties in the state.
We worked our a$$e$ off in the early 2000's to flip San Diego County from Conservative to Liberal.
There are now more registered Democrats in SDC, by a small margin, than there are Republicans.
The city itself is very Democratic leaning, but the northern suburbs leading up to Orange and Riverside Counties
have plenty of Republican voters. And a lot of those suburbs are still within the San Diego city boundaries.

The good part is that California will go blue for the foreseeable future.
I have Republican friends that complain that their vote will mean nothing.
I just laugh and say, but you support the Electoral College, because without it, we would have
never had 8 years of G.W. McIdiot or Pendejo45 as pResidents.
