In fact, once he is out of office and facing numerous charges, he will fight every single one to the max, all the way to SCOTUS. He will expect rulings in his favor. And he might get that with some of the charges because the chages might involve or imply people the court will want to protect.

At the very least, the stalling tactics of appeals will slow down convictions against him to the point that they might not even be resolved by the time he dies.

I hope that he does not escape accountability, but he is so slippery that it always seems like he might get away with everything. However, he will still face the public humiliation of being voted out and having his actions in office reversed, rejected, and ridiculed.
