In reply to the discussion: 'Enormous betrayal': GOP senators furious with Trump for trying to cut a deal with Nancy Pelosi [View all]StClone
(11,683 posts)38. I think this is an excuse because they know they are screwed
This is the straw which broke the camel's back? I don't think so!
If Trump were on his way to a victory the Rs would be saying "This goes against our morals but we will allow this deal with evil Nancy, for the people, to pave our way to re-election."
But, they smell defeat, the absolute stench of resounding death, as their scow goes down. So they cobble the few wits they have among them and say: Well this is a deal breaker Donald! We can't allow this! We are pulling our support for you.
PLEasssssse. After all the million cuts they've taken this far NOW they think it's too much!? No they want out at the last possible chance to separate from Trump as he goes down trashing wildly in a possible historic loss!
