The Sacramento Bee among others is reporting that CA was allocated 327k doses for December

That's about 1% of the "current plans" cited in the original article.

If one allocates doses by population, CA should get 10%.

327k doses (that is, enough for 163k people) doesn't come close to covering the health professionals targeted for the first wave of vaccinations.

Since this is just Pfizer's portion we have to add the Moderna allocation. Which is unknown, & will be at least 1 week later (ie into the holiday).

I hope this isn't going to be another Trump shit show, but I'm starting to get a bad feeling about it. They have no good history of understanding logistics planning.
