That bastard singlehandedly turned the industry I loved (and was so proud and grateful to be a small part of) into a roiling cesspool of hate, division, and prideful resentment.

He made hate, intolerance, and selfishness cool and out in the open, and profitable. He gave cover and legitimacy and justification to that foul inner snake pit we all battle in the deepest parts of our worst and most resentful moments (what Mom & Dad and the nuns and wise teachers and role models and all those other human guideposts in our lives tried to teach us to rise above and be better than) and made those monsters okay to come out of the closet where they’d remained rightfully suppressed. A permanent blight on broadcasting.

GLAD he’s gone. Best thing he’s ever done. Maybe the ONLY good thing he ever did.
