The management and the owners were some of the most obnoxious people I have ever been in contact with. That place wrote the book on "exclusive." Exclusive to the extent of forbidding ownership of properties to minorities and non-Christians. Wealth has is privilege. I remember a story of a boater who had run out of fuel and drifted into their fueling dock. (a long way from any other facility) As I remember it they told him to get lost, they wouldn't take his money and fuel his boat; he was not a member.
