In reply to the discussion: UPDATED - BREAKING: Jerry Nadler Says Governor Andrew Cuomo Must Resign [View all]PoliticAverse
(26,366 posts)2. 11 House Democrats from New York call on Cuomo to resign
https://www.axios.com/cuomo-resign-aoc-bowman-nadler-ca7c2879-a468-4813-83e9-bc62b27fcf26.html
Ten House Democrats from New York including the chairs of the powerful Oversight Committee and Judiciary Committee issued statements within minutes of each other on Friday calling for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign in the wake of a sixth sexual harassment allegation.
Why it matters: Pressure for Cuomo to resign is now coming from Congress. 11 of the 19 House Democrats from the New York delegation have now called for his resignation, with the 10 on Friday joining Rep. Kathleen Rice, who called for the governor to step down on March after a third accuser came forward.
The list includes:
House Judiciary chair Jerry Nadler
House Oversight chair Carolyn Maloney
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Rep. Jamal Bowman
Rep. Mondaire Jones
Rep. Grace Meng
Rep. Yvette Clark
Rep. Adriano Espaillat
Rep. Nydia Velasquez
Rep. Anthony Delgado

He's been a bit abrasive in office, but that doesn't mean he hasn't done a good job.

But this is an election, not a criminal case, and it's unlikely to ever be a criminal case.

Did Schumer or Gillibrand call for Trump's resignation? I mean, Trump had like 20+ complaints.
