Fox News has hired former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as a contributor, the network announced Thursday.
Fox News’s hiring of Pompeo, already a frequent guest on the network, installs another top Trump administration official and staunch defender of the former president as a fixture on the network, which has also brought on former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. Fox News announced last week that McEnany would co-host "Outnumbered," which airs weekdays at noon.
Pompeo will offer analysis on Fox News and Fox Business network both during the day and during primetime hours, Fox News Media said in a release. He’ll make his debut as a contributor Friday on Fox & Friends, the network’s signature morning show.
“Mike Pompeo is one of America’s most recognized and respected voices on foreign policy and national security issues,” Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott said in the release. “I look forward to his contributions across our range of platforms to share his distinct perspective with our millions of viewers.”
