Biden is paralyzed and can't get anything done. His nonsense about needing to protect the filibuster virtually guarantees he will spend the rest of his term as a lame duck. Manchin, Sinema, and the blue dog trash are tanking progressive legislation in favor of more corporate welfare and protecting the status quo. The bipartisan bill was always the goal so Republicans can boast they got money for their districts against the opposition of the Socialist radical Left. They know people will barely register that they are being forced to pay for it by selling off public roads, bridges, etc. to private interests that will gouge tax payers for the foreseeable future. Then the Blue Dogs turn on their party (as Sinema is now) and thwart any effort to pass effective legislation for the public. Dark money is protected and the slide into autocracy continues unabated.
