(25,241 posts)when things across our country (U.S.) seems to be easing with respect to Covid an the relaxation of masking requirements and talk of getting back to normal.
We've been here before. We push the button too fast to attempt to get back to some normalcy - and what happens?
This pandemic rears its ugly head and hits us again with a vengeance.
Is this surge in Germany a harbinger of things to come here again - particularly if we are in this mode of letting down our guard again.
And this is happening at the seasonal point of the year - Thanksgiving Holidays, Christmas and New Years - travel season - where spread comes easy.
Haven't we learned our lesson yet - and why can't we wait and have some patience with the easing of restrictions - until we know for sure that this pandemic is behind us.
We can't be that far away from maximum vaccinations and possibly a herd immunity.
Why are we again rushing to say it's over? At least wait to see what shakes out in Germany before we jump the gun again.
Will we ever learn?
