(172,432 posts)6. You are welcome. At this point we will have to see if the primary vaccine series + boosters
will be enough to allow someone who gets infected, to have the best chance of self-care at home (including viral treatments) like someone who has a bad case of the flu might do vs having to enter the hospital for more serious (but still not life-threatening) conditions, that might include some non-respiratory system organ damage (which is something that COVID-19 can cause).
