My daughter just yesterday sent in her commitment letter to play lacrosse in Durango. Boulder is like heaven (I don't know where else they still enforce criminal prosecution for use of racial slurs). I have had mixed experiences in Denver. I don't have anything good to say about Colorado Springs except if one is traveling to the southern part of Denver, I prefer to fly into Colorado Springs (Denver International is too close to the Kansas state line). Most small towns in Colorado retain the charm they had before the big boxes.

During the 2nd gulf war, I heard someone say that because the US seems prone to invade countries with oil, we should liberate Texas, then invade it. Conversely, I say we should liberate Texas, then when they figure out a state tax base, we invade them, tax the crap out of them and shut down their oil industry.
