Remember the summer of 2019 when Rudy went over to see Zelenskyy after he had just been sworn in as the new President? Rudy isn't even a diplomat and he has no authority to "make deals" for the US government. I'm sure Zelenskyy was already aware of that because he's no dummy. So Rudy told Zelenskyy to "find some dirt on Hunter Biden" and if he couldn't find anything then make something up. Rudy told him that he would get the military aid that was promised to Ukraine by the US government AS SOON AS HE GAVE THEM SOMETHING!
Zelenskyy knew this was an illegal shakedown because he's not stupid. He immediately announced what happened to the foreign press and of course our Congress had to act. That's what eventually brought about Chump's 1st impeachment (if you recall.) Ukraine was still going to get the military aide, but Chump and Giuliani tried to get something for it first.
Why is Rudy G. still walking around a free man? He should have been locked up in 2019.
