In reply to the discussion: Trump, Jr. winds up in felony poaching scandal in Utah after killing a bear baited with pastries [View all]Xolodno
(7,381 posts)58. I have a very strict view on hunting.
Wealthy people should not be hunting, they have no need to. My brother in law, is close to poverty's door, he hunts elk every year as its their main protein intake for the year. He only hunts what is the legal amount and reports anyone he suspects of poaching or taking more than they should. He doesn't want it ruined for himself due to some assholes. Of course if we had more equitable wages, he wouldn't have to hunt and he would be ok with that.
He also doesn't believe anyone should own a semi-auto. As for myself, when we visit, I enjoy the gift of elk when he gives it to me. But I make enough so I don't have any need to hunt. Not that I would want to anyway, taking a life never sits well with me.

OP
I would think it would be Jr's responsibility to know the rules when hunting.

I have a friend who has a shop next door to a taxidermist who sets up African hunting junkets.

Yeah, I think the killing of Cecil the Lion changed a lot of 'hunts' for tourism purposes.

A hunting guide, failing to disclose the location/substance of baiting to a client?

I suppose it was too much for cokehead Jr to know that he killed the bear out of season.

Junior takes the kill shot and Lemon does the crime for laying the bait. Trump logic.

Just when I think they can't get any more despicable, they again prove me wrong.
