71. A domestic terrorist attack averted

This is exactly what happened. This is exactly what this would've been. These 31 psychos were going to shoot up a Pride event and see how many LGBTQ's they could kill for the "crime" of how they were born, and for being out and about living their lives.

These crazy idiots, fueled by hate and hate media, thought they had the right to kill people for being different. These fucking losers actually think we're "coming for their children" and we "started a war." No. We're not the ones armed to the teeth. We're not the ones making threats. We're not the ones shooting people. We're trying to live our lives and not be shot.

The QOP is at fault for this. Period. This is what I've tried to say. This is why I've spoken up, loudly. We've seen it, time and time and time again. When elected officials use their power and influence to "other" people, the more extreme think they're lesser people (or not people at all) and believe they have the right to kill them. And this is what the QOP has done nonstop in 2022. "Other" the LGBTQ's, especially the T's. Everyday, it's going after this right, go after that right. No sports for you. Transitioning before 18 is "abuse." "Groomers." Kids at drag shows.

Everyday. It's a nonstop news cycle of hatred and bigotry, and happening during a time when MAGAts are armed to the teeth, with them in perpetual rage and hostility because they didn't get their way with the election, and mass shootings at a record pace. We've seen these terrorists do it before. Palin says "Don't retreat! Reload!" and one of her minions shoots Gabby Giffords. Drumpf calls on his qult to march on DC and they attack the Capitol Building.

The QOP has made us out to be the devil and now they're threatening and terrorizing us.

20 years ago, we were told we must go to war in the Middle East. "Fight terror." While we fought it over there, it grew here. The biggest threat to this nation - and to millions of innocent people - is not Islamic terrorists, or Kim Jong Un, or even Putin. It's the extreme right. People who got the idea six years ago that it was okay to spread this kind of hate and hostility. People who got the impression they can use violent force to get what they want and to kill anyone they don't like.

People who want to use that kind of force.

These people had every intention to shoot up LGBTQ's. Because they're full of hate. Because that hate has been fed by Fux and OANN and the like. Because they actually believe they have the right to.

We used to look down our noses on the kind of terror and violence that took place in Lebanon and Iran. Now we have people who want to make that a reality here.

If the "Patriot Front" had their way yesterday, a lot of people would've died. Good people. Innocent people. People who were targeted just because they're not like these bigoted fascists.

The only difference between them and ISIS is ISIS is thousands of miles away while these terrorists are in our own backyard.

These people want Sharia Law - just under another name. These people want the Fourth Reich.

They are terrorists and need to be branded and charged as such. May they be charged with every single crime possible. Throw the book at them.

We are in grave trouble if we don't fight against terrorism here. Meanwhile, we averted disaster yesterday. A disaster I very much fear coming. For weeks now, I've feared we will see a mass shooting at a Pride event. I'm even more convinced of that happening now. I hope to hell I'm wrong but everything that's happened in 2022 makes me think we're going to see a tragedy at an event this month.

This nation is in grave danger and anyone who isn't like the UltraMAGAs are in serious danger as well. What a sad nation we've become.
