36. How are those months of "private warnings" working out?

That is what Putin wants to hear. Even that the West is using that word must make him smile.

And that we are only whispering to him privately not to use nuclear weapons or else? Not gonna work.

I'm also thinking of how Putin will spin it AFTER he uses a nuke. He will go on State TV and state that the US and the West better NOT retaliate. And any action by the West will be twisted and used by Putin to declare that the west is unilaterally declaring war on Russia with no warning or basis to do so.

No, we have to make it very clear, publicly to the whole world, not "private warnings". So they and the whole world know that Russia has heard it, and has no excuses or reasons to whine afterwards when the consequences come.
