36. I bought one ticket a game.

That was before they had games almost every night. I worked across the street from a grocery store so it was convenient.

I was in line one day & the lady a couple of people in front of me bought some scratch tickets, which I never bought. She scratched them off while others were being checked out & all of a sudden she started screaming, "I think I just won $50,000!" Sure enough, she had. They couldn't pay it there, but they verified it was a winning ticket & told her where she could go that afternoon to get a check. That was as close to a big winning ticket that I ever got.
