by firing so many workers, not paying rent... etc.. The Twitter building on San Francisco also houses the Golden Gate Regional Center, a state contracted nonprofit that serves people with developmental disabilities, and I wonder if Twitter rent has helped underwrite a less onerous rent for that agency. In other words, I worry about some of the potentially widespread (but not necessarily on the radar) ramifications of the collapse of Twitter as a previously more responsible (comparatively!) corporate player.
