52. I disagree with the premise of the question

That any resolution is a reward for Putin if it results in some present day Ukrainian land being surrendered. His face-saving is irrelevant. Hundreds of thousands have already been killed or injured in this war. I’m far more concerned with ending the meat grinder that is destroying a whole generation of young people.

So would I trade land for peace? It’s not ideal, but the alternative is so much worse. But ultimately that is a question for Ukraine. Right now we are using them as a proxy to hurt Russia. And I think that is despicable and against Liberal and Democratic values as I understand and try to live them. We should be pushing for peace, not ramping up the war with more funds and weapons.
