15. All the U.S.A. phone companies suck.

They've got a lot in common with the cable and satellite television companies.

My cell phone flips open like a Star Trek communicator and I use it in a similar fashion so I never have to worry about data limits.

My wife and I don't have cable or satellite television either.

The internet is of course a necessity in the modern world. It's required for our work but we are fortunate to live in a place where multiple internet service providers compete with one another. Interactions with their customer service people can be quite sociable.

I have friends and family who live in places where there are only one or two options for telecommunication services. They are screwed.

For many years my wife's parents, living in a rural area, had to cope with AT&T and/or Hughes. There were no other options, take it or leave it. The customer service they got reflected that.
