to influence the attitude of potential jurors. There is a whole series of steps that are undertaken as preparatory these days in "communications/public relations" aka propaganda as conditioning a person to more readily accept a particular influence/statement etc. and to more readily adopt the desired thought the propagandist/manipulator wants the person to take on. Taken separately the "messages" may not seem to necessarily be related but psychologists now have this down to a very well worked field of "consulting" in politics, elections and jury manipulation.
Sometimes the sequencing is very obvious, especially if one is looking for it, as the escalation of messaging surrounding the 2020 election began with general statements about how efforts might be made to manipulate results and then that was hammered for several months raising the specter in the minds of the gullible. Then the message became that crooked things had been done and the gullible were indoctrinated deeper into the message. Then it became the courts were denying the cases because the courts were crooked. This of course all heightened anger in the gullible because they had been told cheating might happen, then when their man lost they were told it did happen but the campaign/lawyers/bedding fanatics would go to court and "prove" it happened. Then the courts threw out the nonsense cases and the gullible were even further enraged because now they were told the legal avenues had been taken away from them. So the final message of come to DC and raise hell and "march down there and fight like hell or you won't have a country" was easy for the gullible to swallow since the conditioning had been planned all along and carried out all along.
I'm defining the gullible as the average idiot in a MAGA hat who listens to hate radio all day. The ones like the Proud Boys and Oaf Creepers are a different sort and they are acting for their own purposes, like grifting etc., and may also already have deeply racist/authoritarian beliefs that don't require much conditioning to get them to accept messaging to turn to violence.
What "He Of Incredibly Small Hands" is doing/has been doing is conditioning potential jurors and you can bet that the lawyers will have consultants telling them who to get on the jury and who to try and strike. The statement about how her "whole life" has been not "liking him" is blatant conditioning to get a juror to take a negative view/predisposed view of any rulings or actions by the judge at trial. He will also scream about any rulings or actions before trial for the same reasons. Affect the views of potential jurors.
