25. Correction: A very sick man whose illness caused him to inflict tragedy and loss on many others has died by his own hand

What he did was horrible, but he was sick, not evil. We (those who have been following the news coverage) have all been made thoroughly aware of his mental illness. It pains me to see this kind of insensitivity here on this board.

His family, who have been cooperating with and assisting the police every step of the way are suffering a deep personal loss just like the families of his victims (plus they have to deal with the secondhand guilt of knowing what their loved one did). They deserve our consideration, along with everyone else in the communities that were directly affected by this.

I suppose it's more fun to call him a dirtbag and celebrate his death, but it's also childish and immature.
