In reply to the discussion: Mike Johnson Suggests Supreme Court Intervene In Trump Hush Money Case [View all]EndlessWire
(8,103 posts)53. Nothing would demonstrate more
the biased, crookedness of the current USSC than for them to override a valid, by the book, lawful felony conviction at the State level.
Johnson said he thought at least some of the courts justices were worried by the case. The justices on the court I know many of them personally I think theyre deeply concerned about that, as we are, he said.
What is this idiot thinking? What is wrong with these people?? Talk about giving the game up--why is he broadcasting this twisted thinking? So, the opposition party leader is conversing with the SC who can basically declare a trial null and void for their boy? What the hell is this? This is his version of justice? Does he plan to write their opinion for them?
We HAVE to push Biden over the top and clean up the Supreme Court AND clean out the vermin in Congress. I think the DOJ needs to crank it up and identify those traitors that participated in the attempted overthrow of our government. And that includes little Miss Ginny.
This is so appalling. I wouldn't let this man walk my dog. He's clearly a cult member and unfit for service.
This isn't over.

The Supremes are barely staying within the law now. We shouldn't take anything off the table.

I hardly think comparing what might be about to happen to this country to Chicago in the 1920's is fair.

Actually they can but in this case it would have to be a case involving the Federal Constitution.

There are assertions in the Conserva-sphere that 5th & 6th Amendments were violated in more than one way each. .nt

I think any federal law will do. He can appeal to federal court and it gets sent up the chain with each rejection.

What's dangerous to our system, Mikey, is Republicans going outside the norm every time something goes against them.

LOL. "This is diminishing the American people's faith in our system of justice itself."

Mike is desperately searching for the words that will connect current reality to what he wants in the future.

Wouldn't you rather deal with corrupt Democrats than corrupt Republicans?

Republicans are living in a surreal world where they think they're above the law.

I think SCOTUS should intervene - in some quicksand and never be seen again. Worst SCOTUS in American history.
