18. What to believe?

On the home page here at DU I see a story about Pelosi telling the House that Biden will be persuaded soon to exit the presidential race. Next to that is this story about how Biden is more determined than ever to beat trump. These are both legitimate posts taken from news stories that are out there, I'm not faulting DU in any way, don't misunderstand. This is what is out there for us to try to process. How is the average person who encounters news stories like these online at the same time supposed to have any idea what is really going on? It's a rhetorical question, I'm not sure there is an answer. But it struck me today when I opened DU, which is now my sole source of news.

ETA: I notice that one is from The Hill, one from WAPO. That offers some clarification...
