You know where Philly is right?
Over the past 30 or so years, the suburbs of Philadelphia have gone from red to pink to purplish, and now to light blue. Even "red" Lancaster County, home of the Amish, has shifted to light red and the urban areas there like Lancaster City, managed to elected a second Democrat to the state House after the 2022 election. It was thanks to places like Lancaster and even the swing county of Bucks over here, that helped Democrats flip 12 seats in the state House in order to take control of that chamber for the first time in a dozen years, and install Philly's own Joanna McClinton as the Speaker.
The population loss in western PA is why, after the 2020 Census was done and PA lost a congressional seat, that lost seat happened in western PA, and not here in the east, because we have gained population here in the east.
My point is that you basically asserted that ads were not happening and I am telling you otherwise. Those ads are even targeted differently on the 2 sides of the state to aim at the specific demographics there. PA is one of the battleground states that has continually been a target of most of the ads, being that we have the largest block of Electoral Votes among the swing states.
Since John Fetterman is a backer of Biden and lives over in the west (although born in the Reading area), he knows the deal and I expect he will be a good surrogate as the campaign moves into its final run to November.
I know that back in 2020, Biden made a trip to Erie as that was a county that flipped in 2016. He was able to flip it back in 2020. Am hoping he can get it on his schedule as we get closer to the election, where his union street cred can be highlighted.
