The big difference is Nile crocs live close to where people do, and you’ve got to go looking for saltwater crocs. But either one will gladly eat you.

There is this issue: Australia has two kinds of animal: humans and animals that will kill humans. I do believe the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog has moved to Australia. So make sure you pack a Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch for your visit to Australia. You can bring in three.
