In reply to the discussion: Fetterman compares Trump's Greenland talk to Louisiana Purchase [View all]WinstonSmith4740
(3,460 posts)40. Many years ago, my late husband had a stroke.
It was pretty nasty, but there are no "good" ones. While he was still in the hospital, the social worker there took me aside to let me know what types of changes to expect. This one stood out...she told me that if he had a particularly strong personality trait, one of two things would happen. It would intensify, or completely do a 180 and reverse.
Fetterman's recent comments make me think he did a 180.

It is exactly the same. We must invade other countries for national security reasons.

He'll claim that China (CHY-na) is planning to take it by force, so he is must act now to protect U.S. security.

Exactly right - there's no comparison between Greenland and the Louisiana Purchase

Fetterman is deluded. Trump is talking about invading, not purchasing. Fool.

Either he was always a Rethug mole or the stroke completely changed his personality and thinking.

Unfortunately a stroke can (not always) change a person's personality permanently....
