Several right wingers have already attacked these comments saying that it is proof that President Obama is about take their guns.

Meaningful steps means - SANE, rational gun control that we ALL can LIVE with.

NO MORE 5 - 10 year olds should have to die like this.

No more people going to a movie should have to watch their backs.

But it's a long term WAGE the PEACE type of action and can't be laced with venom.

THAT gives the whinny ass people clinging to their assault weapons, a reason to say THEY are the victims.

Not EVERY gun owner is bad.

SO we have to be as sane and rational as we want THEM to be in order to get the job done.
