31. Love her to death but

I think, and I know how this might sound, a woman of color is going to have a tough road to walk for that Senate seat in the State of Texas.

Talarico is good on his feet, smart and has charisma.

But being an atheist, I am strongly opposed to having another Christian in Congress.

White Christian Nationalism is very much on the rise in our country and needs to be forcefully opposed.

Can Talarico hold the line for our party when it’s crunch time? I have serious doubts about that. He will choose what’s best for his faith FIRST and the rights of EVERY citizen in our country second.

I’m an Allred supporter, but he made a smart decision to campaign for a different office.

Talarico always invoking his faith when speaking causes me to sigh and roll my eyes.

How will he vote if the Dems decide to codify the right to have an abortion? Keeping the Ten Commandments out of the public square? Will he support public ed or will he vote to give $ to religious and charter schools?

I want to us to win. We’ve got to win.

And I don’t want to hear any mess about purity tests for our candidates.

But there are some things that are too much.

I’ll send Jasmine $ for the primary. And we’ll see what happens.

Hitchens: “Religion poisons everything”.

And I want religion out of politics.

That’s what best for our country and The Founders thought so too.
