WASHINGTON — Border czar Tom Homan weighed in on Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s allegations that the ICE shooting victim was engaged in “domestic terrorism,” telling NBC News’ “Meet the Press” that “if you look up this definition of terrorism, it certainly could fall within that definition.”

Shortly after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer shot and killed Renee Nicole Good last week, Noem painted Good’s actions as “an act of domestic terrorism,” though she did not provide evidence. Asked on “Meet the Press” whether Noem was correct to label Good a domestic terrorist, Homan said, “I don’t know what Secretary Noem knows.”

“What I know, I can tell you is what they did is illegal,” he continued. “And if you look up this definition of terrorism, it certainly could fall within that definition.” Several White House officials, including President Donald Trump and Noem, claimed that Good was trying to run over an officer, but those allegations were thrown into question by videos and eyewitnesses.

Pressed further on whether the administration had evidence to support Noem’s claims, Homan reiterated that “I don’t know what secretary has that I don’t.” “I’m not going to judge what the secretary says, but if you look up the definition of terrorism, it certainly can fall within that,” he said

It's all pretzel-twisting bullshit. They KNOW they are wrong. In the past, the GOP loons have demanded "anti-government screeds" and other stuff for "domestic terrorism" and even whined about there really being no "definition" because in their minds, the only "terrorism" was "foreign terrorism" against Americans.

They would only dub a (white) American (male) a "Lone Wolf" - like that scumbag who killed almost 60 and injured over 800 people in Las Vegas during 45's first term, but would not call him a"domestic terrorist". They wouldn't even call the KKK "domestic terrorists".

After the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City, OK, they (GOP) insisted on looking for "foreigners" and not anyone "domestic" (and this is just after the GOP took control of the House after 40 years of having no control over that chamber).

But their BIGGEST omission was the Jan. 6 TERRORISTS/INSURRECTIONISTS who stormed the U.S. Capitol to try to delay and overturn the 2020 election, threatening to HANG the VP, and kill the Speaker of the House, forced members of Congress, their staff, and Capitol employees to flee, and attacked the LEO who were there trying to protect those within the building. They were subsequently pardoned.
