Martina McBride is the latest performer to pull out of Donald Trump’s Great American State Fair, saying she was misled by the type of event it was.

The country music star took to social media to “clear the air.”

“I will not be performing at the Great American State Fair on June 25,” her post on Instagram read. “I was presented with an opportunity to perform at a nonpartisan event, but that turned out to be misleading.”

She added she asked a lot of questions and was assured it would be a “nonpartisan event that was meant to celebrate all 50 states.”
