(17,625 posts)25. I was s constituent of Congressman Lamb
because he was a Dem and even as a moderate, establishment from a politically connected family, he was better than the best R. That's why he got my vote.
I can assure you the only reason his CD was "purple" was that it included part of Allegheny county. The largest part the district area-was and remains reliably red.
I also had a chance to meet Lamb when he was campaigning at a community event. He was polite and listened to my thoughts on some issues. He struck me as a nice guy, but too kumbya-ish. Which is what he turned out to be. He didn't get my Senator primary vote.
FTR, my Congressman is now the far better Chris Deluzio, someone not afraid to fight or speak out against the current wannabe dictator.
