I think a podcast called Chapo Trap House which I never listened to was given as an example of the "dirtbag left" but outside of that I haven't seen much evidence that there is a "dirtbag" left.

Even the Bernie Bro myth was proven to be false.

In my experience most people on the left are caring and empathetic which is more than I can say about those to the right of them.
