Explained his POV better. He sounded completely unemotional and robotic, instead of sounding like he understood the gravity of the situation, but was holding firm to his convictions. He makes it sound black and white, and for many people it's not.

For my part, I think the way to convince others isn't to seem as if you've had your beliefs programmed into you, but to express the humanity in your position despite sometimes muddy conditions.
