It's my understanding that the suspect is being questioned in regards to other possible bomb locations, accomplices, and other information which could prevent further loss of life. Any information they gather from this won't be admissible to use in a trial. After the FBI or whomever finishes gathering this information he'll be read his rights, and anything he divulges from that point on will be useable in his trial.
