22. Two lawyers in the same area.

I've had two lawyers help me with my mother. They're in the much larger Phx metro area.

Both knew my mother's court-appointed lawyer. Not friends, not well, but at some point in the last 15-20 years each had to deal with him on some matter.

It's like Slavists. I know a bunch. Europe and Russia, Taiwan and Korea. Lots in various states and even a couple in Canada. Not very well. And mostly by name. But it's a very, very small world if you're a Slavist. My advisor was world famous. Again, in a very, very small world.

So this may have been a close relationship. But it's probably a professional relationship blown out of proportion by suspicion and seeking every way possible to win.
